Densha de Go for PS4/PS5

Lovely graphics and the classic gameplay means this famous Taito video game series is not quite extinct on The PlayStation. Pity there is no special controller for PS4 ( it is a very expensive technical hack to overcome this, apparently) but the usual handset makes for a pleasant experience nonetheless. One wishes for more authenticity such as the unique melodies “Eki-Mero” that play to announce each Yamanote Line station, but which aren’t present here. Overall the atmosphere places you in the centre of Tokyo! My friend from Shibuya hates the congestion on this line and does anything to avoid it, but as a visitor to Japan it’s all good addictive nostalgia!
